Management Committee

The role of the Management Committee is to oversee, and ultimately be responsible for the efficient, effective and accountable management of the organisation within the approved budget and in accordance with legal requirements and Northside Enterprise’s Incorporated (Northside) stated objectives.

In general the Management Committee is guided by its constitution and other statutory laws and regulations (see legal responsibilities).

The Manager of Northside reports to and is directed by the Management Committee. Northside Enterprise Inc. has legal and other responsibilities to consumers, staff, and volunteers. It is expected that, in accepting their election to the Committee by the Association, management committee members will acknowledge their commitment to ensuring their roles and responsibilities are fulfilled.

Men and women, who accept membership of committees of management, do so in the spirit of community service. Their voluntary contribution of time energy and experience is critical to the process of making services available to people with disability.
