"Dan Harrowell was a competitor in the first Special Olympics Winter Games in 2011. This event was held at Blue Cow/
Perisher Valley along side the Brumby T-bar on 27th August 2011. The competitors had two runs down the course and
the fastest run won. Dan did his run in 33 secs which was only 2 seconds behind 2nd place. Dan competed in the advanced
Downhill slalom event and came a credible 4th place in Australia. Dan was the only one who hadn’t been at the snow
multiple times this season so his 4th place is truly fabulous. He hasn’t wanted to miss Northside TTW training sessions!
Well done Dan on all fronts!
