Biography
I am the mother of 33yr old Adrian who works for the Bushlink Team. I have lived experience supporting people with disability and have worked hard to advocate for Adrian’s inclusive education and now inclusion in a workplace that is well connected to community and gives Adrian a balance of friendship and sense of purpose. I have worked in the public school system for over 20 yrs in both school administration and working as a teachers aid assisting children with learning difficulties in the classroom.

Expertise and Contribution
My 20 years’ experience in school administration has served me well to fill the role of secretary on the management committee. I am passionate about people with disability living full and purposeful lives.

Why they serve on the Management Committee
I have served on the management committee for over 10 years and am driven by the fact that I see Northside as an organisation that sees it’s clients as more than clients but as family. I believe Northside has a real sense of community and care for the environment through its Bushlink program.

I love bushwalking and care very much for the environment. I am so proud that Adrian contributes daily to the beautiful environment of the Northern Beaches by the work he does through Bushlink. I would love to see this fantastic work expanded.
